A few general guidelines for monogramming your personalized item

For all

One large initial of the family last name or first name is always appropriate.

For a Married or Soon to Wed Couple

Traditionally, the monogram will contain the couples Last Name LARGE, and the Bride and Groom's First Initial smaller Lady's name on the left and man's right, but at your option. Example for Anne and John Smithson the monogram would be:

For a Man

Traditionally the monogram will be the man's first, middle, then last names in all caps. For example Peter John King would be:

For an Unmarried Woman

Traditionally the monogram will be the woman's first name, last name LARGE, then middle name. For example for Jane Claire Rodriguez the monogram would be:

For a Married Woman

Traditionally the monogram would be the woman's first name, married last name LARGE, and then maiden name small right. For example for Jane Rodriguez Soto, the monogram would be:
